More RAM or GTX 1080

Hi I currently bot an omen pc with an i7-7700, 8gb of RAM and a 3gb 1060. Should i invest in more RAM before buying the 1080 or can my 8gb of ram handle it

1.Do you play 1440p?
2.Do you stream/edit?
3.Do you really need it?
4.8GB is standard today

You need to put your specification of pc soo we can see which components do you have.

More ram is substantially cheaper but unlikely to offer improvement. GTX 1080 is much more expensive but even with RAM bottleneck would offer substantial improvement.

Before all those questions, what monitor do you have? If you are gaming in a 144hz monitor, a 1070/1080 makes sense. If u have a 60hz monitor, stick with the 1060 and upgrade ram. Get a ssd if you don't have one already.
