More RAM = Slower Computer?

I have recently upgraded from two 4 GIG sticks to three different 4 GIG sticks. The computer seems slower than it did before. he is the type of RAM i bought G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9T-12GBRL.

does your motherboard support triple channel memory?
is the ram being detected correctly?

Have you checked your bios for correct ram speed?
When i upgraded my ram - it was set to automatic detection or something, and it was wrong.
I have 8GB 1333mhz ddr3 - it showed up as 8GB 800mhz. That could be the problem for you aswell.
Also it could be the case that you have dual channel or triple channel memory and you put it in wrongly.

Would guess it's running slow and with sloppy timings at your mobos default..What mobo and CPU?
