It runs fairly poorly on my system (ATI 9800 Pro, Athlon 2.2 GHz cpu)
at 1024 X 768. Graphics are nothing special, gameplay is just okay.
Haven't really played much yet.

the game has been release in europe i think in last christmas and for
what i know it also runs in windows 98, but the important thing is not
that, what is really important in "Mortyr 2" is that the european cd
has starforce3! yes i repeat, "Mortyr 2" in europe has starforce3!
don't know what will the us version have as cd copy protection but if
someone has that info we would all appreciate if he could warn us

we need to know what cd copy protection will "Mortyr 2" us edition have

you can check this database and look for the "Mortyr 2" entry and see
both german and france versions have starforce3
http://www.makeabackup.com/database-M.html

if the "Mortyr 2" us version has no starforce3 i think its worthy for
every european gamer to import it from the states

let me clarify my position in respect to starforce3, i find it very
wrong, we have to tell the publishers we don't want it in any pc game
no starforce3 in ANY pc games!

another clarification... i only see acceptable making a backup copy of
a pc game you bough for archive purposes
my concerns about cd copy protection are not so i can copy the games
but instead fight cd copy protection means which i find wrong like
starforce3

lending pc games is piracy!
copying pc games and giving them to others is piracy!
piracy is the number one problem in pc games!
piracy kills pc games!
the sacred rule in pc games is: PAY TO PLAY
so please don't mix being against starforce3 with piracy

What's the issue with Starforce 3?

Every European gamer should import the US version? Every one of them?
Even though some don't care about making backups.

I'm not sure that I understand this. In prior messages you went about how
CDs were indestructible, and how well organzied you were, and therefore you
didn't need Steam to act as a backup system... But you think it's ok to
make backups of CDs?

After the abomination that was Mortyr, I must say I've no real desire to
chance it. If like it gets 90% rating on gamerankings I might consider it.
