MOSLO on Ultima IV Problem

I am running Ultima IV with moslo on my girlfriends computer. It's
fairly new, definitely over 1 GHz. The game runs fast, but I like it a
little fast, my progress has been good. However, using the balloon is
impossible, it's way to fast, wind spells are useless, and so is the
sextant. I need the balloon to get the white stone by my
understanding, so I am assuming I need to run moslo much slower to do
this. I have no idea how to run it and can't figure it out from the
instructions. Can someone help me or is there another program I can
download to do the same thing with an easy interface?

Perhaps DosBox ( http://dosbox.sourceforge.net ) could be of help.
I've mainly used it for U7/U8 experimentation though.

There is xu4, a recreation of the U4 engine, which runs on various
platforms (similar to Exult for U7).

DosBox at 500 cycles will give you a good approximation of the speed on
which this game should be played (XT speed.)
