As the title suggests, I want you all to try and answer this question while keeping in mind that I want to play modern games at highest FPS, I'm also an animator so I need a powerful system.

I wanted to ask the community here at tomshardware so that I can see different points of view instead of my own.

My budget is around $34,000, in case you are wondering why I have this much money for a PC, I work in Saudi Arabia and the job salaries here for American nationals is crazy so I thought why not invest $34,000 in PC that will last at least 5 years.

there is also this guy at work which is driving me crazy, he wants me to teach him about hardware, gpu, cpu etc. everything so that he can ''go in like a pro" in discussions with gamers and IT professionals about hardware and custom built computers, so please, if you have a very good guide that would give all of the latest info and be suited for a novice like him (I told him I'd buy him a book so I'm asking you guys to pick one up that would completely shut him up). Thanks!

There's your dual socket quad SLI build. I'm not going to waste any more time adding fluff.

And how does this one vary any over the last dozen (hundred) 'stupid expensive' build questions that have been asked here?

Your income, be it Riyadh, NYC, Silicon Valley, or lottery winnings...make little difference.
A "$34,000 PC" is simply stupid.

Most I'd spend on a computer even if I had all the money in the world would be around the $2500 mark, but nothing more or nothing less. Even both of my own builds don't total more than that without the peripherals. I agree that spending $34,000 is completely ridiculous.

As much as a new car. Big waste of money, but here you go. Even after all these parts, nowhere near $34K.

This would make vacuum noise pleasant to listen to lol

Last year's Maximum PC Dream Machine had that ridiculous Red Harbinger Cross Desk with something like $20K of equipment spread out over two motherboards (they had a pair of 5960Xs, two Radeon R9-295x2s, and two GTX Titan Zs), and then added this crazy custom liquid cooling solution and topped it off with a triple 4K monitor setup. It was something like $40,000 after everything was said and done.

Good god. But can it play Minesweeper at 60fps?

Ah so that's the specs of the mars rover.

It might even get 61.5fps, but only in the winter, when you have the house heat turned down.

What in the...

3 980's = $1650.

That must be a hell of a water cooler.

Have you seen that case? It kind of looks like the Mars Rover.
