Haven't had an opportunity to play it yet. Waiting on the PC release. I do have an xbox 360 stick that I use on PC, so I guess technically I could just find a cheap xbox and gain instant access to some of the titles that I don't get to play, but nahhhhhhhhh. Last xbox 360 I owned was a short lived dvd player that got resold.
The game looks ok. I'll buy it when it comes out unless the scene for it completely dies out before May (which obviously isn't going to happen). Until then I'll be stuck with the various Street Fighters and Blazblue games that are available on PC. If you're in the market for a good fighting game on console, I'd say look into KOF XIII. That game is the business. The only downside to KOF is it doesn't have Hugo to milk those mike ross tears.
I would strongly recommend getting an Xbox 360. The new slim models are very well built and work great.
You really need one, and I mean, big time. There are many reasons to get an Xbox 360, but there are 3
huge reasons in particular.
The top 3 reasons to get an Xbox 360 (this isn't a copy/paste)...
3. Netflix, youtube, facebook, Zune, Hulu, and other cool apps.
Sure, the PC can do it all. But the convenience of having it all on your HDTV in the living room is really cool. Netflix is MADE for the console. You can buy a Netflix receiver, but the Xbox 360 does so much more, why not pay a little more and get the Xbox 360? It would be foolish to go with the box. And as far as toting your PC into the living room (or even hooking a laptop up to your HDTV), even if you do, it won't look as good. Netflix on PC looks terrible. If you want the full 1080p HD experience with Netflix, Xbox 360 is the way to go (I have a 3DS that plays Netflix better than my PC). And Facebook, Hulu, Zune - all the other apps playable in the living room - I just can't see not having an Xbox 360 just for those reasons alone.
2. Halo, Gears of War - 'Nuff said.
Exclusives - you have to play the exclusives, and there are many. But, there are two series in particular that you
have to get an Xbox 360 for. If these were merely
good games, I would understand passing.
But these are world shaking, generation defining monsters. Let me put it to you this way: If I had "gamer" tattooed on my forehead, I would be deathly afraid of mirrors unless I had those games.
1. Xbox Live Arcade
Geometry Wars, N+, Ikaruga (remake), Radiant Silvergun (remake), Puzzle Quest 2, Rez HD (remake), Marvel vs Capcom 2 (remake), Peggle, Braid, 'Splosion Man, Kingdom for Keflings, Trials HD, Castle Crashers, Portal: Still Alive, SHADOW COMPLEX, and many, many more. Not to mention the
amazing INDIE games that are sometimes only 80 MS points ($1) a piece.
Oh, and last but certainly not least...
Far Cry Instincts: Predator.
An HD upgrade of the Xbox remake of Far Cry.
Far Cry Instincts is the definitive Far Cry experience. A far superior version - way better than Far Cry and Far Cry 2. This is the game Far Cry should have been to begin with.
I can't imagine not having an Xbox 360.
