I am having trouble with my new job and my eyes now that I spend a lot of time on a computer. What is the best monitor to reduce my eye strain and potential damage?

For the monitor I would recommend a LCD no less then 22 inches in size.

The other things I would focus on in regards to eye strain, and overall comfort are the distance, height of your monitor, and room lighting. The monitor should be roughly an arms length away from you when you are seated. The top of the monitor should be at or just a bit above your eye level when you are seated. I also recommend having the room well lit while working on your computer for long hours. All these things can help towards less eye strain, neck pain, and other annoying body pains when working on your computer in front of a monitor for an extend period of time.

Yes, I do have the arms length, but not the 22 inch size. I also know that having my elbows on the table, not hanging off the table from using the keyboard helps! I know posture is a problem, but I try. I think looking away ever so often helps to keep the eyes blinking and not drying out. But, as for the blurry vision, I think there is a market for whoever makes one to deal with this.
