Most Games On My New Graphics Card Shut Down My PC

I recently bought a preowned Asus Geforce GTX 760, Im new to computers but i was able to install it. However whenever i load up games like Arma 3 and Rust my computer shuts down immediately and for games like War Z it gets to 50oC then shuts down. I've Installed Speedfan to moniter my temps and even have an external fan to help. I also have no idea how to check the heatsink on this card. Any advice?

My PSU is an ACE A-500BR

Most likely the power supply is the issue, the PC will shutdown if the GPU pulls too many watts.

That might very well be the problem, it's probably not providing enough power to your system.

You should replace it. (Even if that doesn't turn out to be the problem, although it very likely is. The power supply could fail and take your whole system with it.)

500w is the minimum recommended for the card at stock speeds, being an Asus card I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't overclocked it a little bit, changed things from reference. etc. requiring more power.

500W is enough, but that power supply may not be providing 500W to begin with.
