What is the most optimal price range for a gaming pc (no OS, no monitor, no keyboard, no mouse)? Taking into consideration the power of the pc, how long it will last etc. Also, which price range is more optimal right now 600$ or 800$?

Proud GTX 670 owner and they are still new for $250 and faster than 760 (more cuda cores) if you can find one.

That is if you must get your entire PC at once you could end up with a very nice CPU such as the AMD FX 8350 or Intel equivalents.

Personally I would build the gaming PC with all the specs you really want excluding GPU, save $200-400 on your build and put it in the bank, and get another $200-400 from a future paycheck and get a killer 780 oc (you can oc it after that) which matches/exceeds stock titan/r290(x)/780ti

Two of the 670's would be great too (one now one later) but I don't know what your build plans are.
