Most powerful gpu shorter than 275mm

I need help finding the the most powerful gpu under 275mm in length and under $350

Good question, I think it will benefit many of the people planning to build mini-ITX's. From comparison, just about any Nvidia card will be under 275mm. The titan is 10.5 inches (266mm) meaning it would be the most powerful card of that specification. But for under $350, the 660ti or 670 reference would do you good.

If the length was the only restriction, you might find some more powerful gpus, but for that price range, the standard recommendation is a gtx 670. This is the model I use, and it's definitely under 275mm:

Not until you want to search for used parts. It's a shame that 275mm is the limit, since 10mm more can make the 350$ hd7970 ghz edition fit in. or 5mm more for a Sapphire 7970 with boost fit it.

Anyway, how about spending 20$ more for this short HD7970?
