most programs keep crashing after install

i just installed windows 7 but after installing some programs like utorrent and vlc , they keep crashing seconds after opening , i also noticed that after the installation there were no programs in the uninstall list , is that normal or should there be some at least already there

I hesitate to ask this, but where did you get your copy of Windows 7? If you got it from a torrent, I would not be surprised if it didn't work.

don't worry i have a genuine copy , but i solved the problem anyway it was mostly about missing drivers that i didn't install
