most quiet desk fan besides the dyson

im going to college soon and it doesnt have air condition in the dorm. is there a very quiet fan besides the dyson? its for when it gets too hot at night and i dont want to wake up room mate.

that i am not sure. you can use a headphone if you're worried about the noise

I can't be specific but there is some points to look for.
For the same airflow a big fan will need to run more slowly than a small fan and most of the noise is speed related.
So look for the biggest diameter fan you can and get one with some form of speed control as slowing a fan down even a little can drastically reduce the noise.
