So I do realize there are lots of threads and reviews out there but none that just consider these factors. I just need an ssd that's durable, (will last a long time) reliable, (won't break on me until it dies) and it's worth the money. I'm considering the 850 evo ($133) and the crucial m550 ($90) right now. I'm going to be buying a 250/256 forsure. Is it worth it to go with the evo? Will it really last that much longer? Any advice here will help, I'm not one to waste a penny so I always try to get the most bang for my buck. Thanks in advance!

Durability is always a crapshoot. You can look at the warranties. I know the Crucial MX100 has a 3 year warranty, but there are others that do 5 years.

I doubt it is worth the money for the Evo from purely a durability perspective. On the other hand, the Evo is considered the speed leader these days.
