I'm getting ready to build a gaming PC based around the Intel i5 2500K CPU and P67 Motherboard. More specifically:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157265

and

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072

My question is: What type of memory (2x4GB) will:
1. Be best for gaming.

and

2. Be most stable.

I've read in many places that the Intel i5 only supports memory clocked up to 1333Mhz. I'm fine with getting 1333Mhz RAM if that's what will perform best, but with prices right now, I'm thinking that maybe I should be getting DDR3 1600?

Does G. SKILL make any RAM that is specifically supported by the motherboard that I listed above? I've been looking at Ripjaw and Sniper RAM, but would have to get something that is unstable for the PC that I am putting together.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Also, feel free to criticize me on anything (including my choice of Mobo/CPU).

Thanks!

To see if this mb supports G.Skill, look at the manufacture's web site for an 'approved vendor' list. I know ASUS has one and it lists most, if not all G.Skill mem boards. I'm not sure about ASRock though.
