Hello everyone! So yesterday i got 2 new ram sticks (the ripjaws v 3200mhz) and my motherboard only supports up to 2933mhz and i was wondering what would be the most stable settings i should put in the bios in order to run them at 2933 mhz? (voltage, cas etc) My CPU is the ryzen 5 1600 if that helps.

The memory package says CL16-18-18-38 1.35v but im pretty sure thats for 3200 mhz.

Solution
i did do that yesterday and after about an hour of usage i got a bluescreen saying IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
i was using 1.2 v at the time and now i use 1.35 and everything seems fine so far i even played some counter strike and i got no bluescreen. Is 1.35v fine and safe? the pdf you sent me says 1.35 do i assume its fine?
Yes, 1.35v is more than fine, 1.2v is usually only for 2133-2400MHz. Have a look at SPD tab in CPU-Z.

Which exact MB ? I'm pretty sure it will work at 3200 if you set XMP/DOCP to3200.

My motherboard doesn't support anything above 2933 (max memory frequency) i just want to know what to put in there to make sure i dont get another bluescreen. And yes i did try xmp and it just sets the voltage and cas latencies to the recommended values (the ones on the sticker on the sticks) Obviously cant go above 2933 because my motherboard doesnt support that ;p what settings would you recommend?

EDIT: they are 16gb sorry is didnt completely read your question ;p

Once again, which MB ? Flashing newest BIOS may help too.

So can't you set DOCP on Auto or disabled and memory speed to 2933MHz ?
