most value used parts?

Solution
It all depends on what you want out of the system if you intend not to buy new parts but second hand ones sold on e-bay ect.

Or what you intend to use the system for mostly valhallarising.

The older the parts the cheaper they will be to buy.
But the less you will be able to do with them if your intention is to run the build with modern software, or mainly games.

I deal is to opt for at least a quad core cpu.
And a second hand motherboard with a good chip set on it.
One with lot`s of expansion possibility, and at least four memory or ram slots provided on the motherboard.

As for memory that changes pretty rapidly in the type and standard used.
So the type of memory the board can take and how much it supports should be thought about...

Also with memory you find that when it is first released as a new type or standard it is very expensive.
Until competition or the volume or availability of the memory becomes flooded on the buying market.

But it also works backwards as well when using a older type of memory, when it is faded out or production of it is reduced
The people left who still have supply's of that type of memory being an older type or standard will charge you more as availability of it becomes less due to it`s age.

A cpu can last providing it is looked after and kept cool ten years or more.
The only real need to replace it is because software created requires more powerful cpu`s the more complex they get.
Motherboard again can last a very long time, the more expensive the board was to buy initially when new.

Will relate to better quality components of it being used and fitted to the motherboard.
Where as cheaper costing motherboard will, and most often last less longer in working conditions.

What you should do is pick a year and research what the best components were at the time.
And look for for them on e-bay ect. say if a few years old from 2012 to 2016.

Then there is the option of the local tip, and a trip once a week for a look around on what computer systems have been skipped.

Some people may laugh at this, but you can often be surprised at just how much good quality computer parts such as cpu`s and motherboard`s ect are simply thrown away.

Because the person has no clue on how to fix it or the problem it has.

I`m not afraid to admit to anyone That by looking through thrown away system at a local tip.

I have come away with Intel i5 cpu`s good motherboards.
And good working hard drives of large capacity sizes.

Through getting my hands dirty for half of an hour.
And it costing me nothing short of a few pounds to get a full system up and running.

The last one was an I5 cpu with a good motherboard and a few 1Tb drives.
Plus 8 Gb of system memory.

I love a society that just throws stuff away once it stops working for them, and just go out and buy a completely new system.
Partly because like I said there clueless on how to fix it, or spend time or money trying to.

im looking for cpu mostly since i upgrade computers and build sometims, i hear that cpus can run very long time? i usually look at ebay and aliexpress i orderd intel xeon x5460 for 30 s and it works almost as good as a six core new amd cpu sure the system is outdated but i dont care about that if the performance is the same.
i also found intel core i5 2400 for about 80 s gotta be good price?
i guess your right about looking at the junkyard some people probably send the whole computer away when one of the part breaks down
