Heyya guys i got an Asus p5sd2-fm/s mobo, after i got this mobo i wanted to prepare my other hdd after some tries i saw/heard a little spark under my mobo, bcause suddenly i pushed it on a metal surface (i know i wouldnt have to do that). After that i unplugged everything, took the components also then tried the bios reset (also jumper reset) method, even the power button option too, i pput together all the things (checked everything +tested psu, tested componenets it worked before, also after on other configs). The mobo dont have any physical damage, neither burnin. So... Here is my question: Can i fix it anyhow?

Have you bench tested the system out side of your case yet? If not take everything out of your case and set it up on a cardboard box like the one the motherboard came in. If it boots then you dodged a bullet. If not well you could try to RMA it. Also, what case do you have?

Not tried in a case yet but before the short went i tried it in a case. I cant RMA the mobo bcause its a used product and its not returnable for me. Also i know that what components it camed with it did run well, also tried the components on another mobo it works. So i did on the mobo a short circuit bcause it sparked up under the mobo by my own fault (no light up, no fan spining no post error sound), but i did on the psu a start (mean: connecting the ground+power on wires and the fans spining), and im looking for a solution if it can be fixed.

Something i forgot to say, when i plug in the psu then turning it on the ethernet plug place leds are blinking up ones, so i think it know maybe it wouldnt be shorted.
