Hi!

Im not really good at these things so I thought I'd ask you here, since you have much more knowledge and experience.

Right, to the question then! Im currently looking for a new graphics card and I've been looking abit extra on the 1060 6gb evga or Gigabyte GeForce GTX1060 WF OC 6GB. The problem however is that Im not sure if it fits with my current rig. Most concerned with the motherboard. Here are my specs:

Motherboard: MSI B85M-E45 (MS-7817) (SOCKET 0)

CPU | Intel Core i5 4670 @ 3.40GHz

PSU | Cooler Master V750, 750W

Does the 1060 work with the motherboard and do I have enough watts om my PCU?

Appreciate any type of help! Thanks in advance!

I have looked at your motherboard and it has a PCI-E x16 port so either of the two graphics cards will be surely 100% compatible. Your 750w power supply is more than enough power for your entire PC so get building! :)
A MSI GeForce GTX 660 TwinFrozr OC HDMI DP 2xDVI 2GB. I think that was the one. It was just a place holder until I was waiting for an upgrade. However it was good enough to run the games I played, until now!

May I consider changing something else?

The PSU was a quick buy I did when my old one got wrecked. Someone had returned theirs, without using it, and I got a really nice deal. Was going to buy a different one to start with, but the price was too good to skip out on hehe

Might aswell ask if there is a difference between MSI, Evga and gigabyte when it comes to the 1060 6gb series? Is it choose whichever or should I stick to Evga bcz of their good rep?
