Hello folks my motherboard usb slots are done. Since your i7-920 uses LGA1366 socket, look for any MoBo that has LGA1366 socket. Though, since LGA1366 is such an old tech, finding a cheap MoBo will be hard.

Did look around a bit and cheapest i found was at $89. MoBo also comes with i7-920 CPU,

Hey thanks for your input im clue;less when it comes to specs and stuff. I will have maybe 2 or 3 hundred to spare 500 if i could get all new keep video card ty again. That Dell MoBo above has LGA1366 socket and it should do fine with your CPU.

Though, for 500 bucks, i'd go with new system, like this latest tech:

Few words

Due to the good on-board graphics, this AMD build doesn't need dedicated GPU in it. And thanks to this, PC can be improved elsewhere, like 2x 8GB 3000 Mhz RAM and 250GB SSD as an OS drive.

Without knowing your GPU model, i can't say if the on-board Vega 11 graphics is better than your current GPU or not. Though, once you have more funds, you can buy and put e.g GTX 1060 into the PC to improve the gaming performance even further. PSU is a bit too powerful for this system but since it's a budget build, the Seasonic M12II-620 EVO will do fine. Also, this older Seasonic 620W unit is cheaper than newer Seasonic 550W unit (Focus+), still, M12II EVO series is good quality PSU. (My Haswell build is powered by M12II EVO series PSU but mine is 850W, full specs with pics in my sig.) Thanks to the 620W PSU, you can actually put GTX 1080 Ti into the PC if you so desire.

If i used the Dell tower and all the ram with this video card how long would it last me into the gaming future?

On it's release, GTX 950 was low-end GPU. At today's standards, GTX 1050 is it's equivalent.

Here's what GPUs can do around 60 FPS:
GT 1030 - high settings @ 1024x768; low settings @ 1280x720
GTX 950 / GTX 1050 - low settings @ 1080p ; medium settings @ 720p
GTX 1050 Ti - medium settings @ 1080p ; high settings @ 720p
GTX 1060 - high settings @ 1080p
GTX 1070 - high settings @ 1440p ; high settings @ 1080p with 144 FPS
GTX 1080 - high settings @ 4K ; high settings @ 1440p with 144 FPS

Above list is more of a guideline than actual rule. Actual FPS depends on a game played.

As far as how long GPU lasts depends on your preferences. But in general and if you play latest games, GPU can last for 3-5 years before newest games become so GPU intensive that you can't play at e.g high settings anymore. Though, lowering in-game graphical settings would extend GPU usefulness but it would hurt the gameplay.

Despite the fact that someone sells the MSI GTX 950 2GD5 OC for $500 at Amazon doesn't mean the GPU is worth that much.

Realistically speaking, GTX 950 has equal performance to GTX 1050,
