I'm looking to change motherboards for 100-140$ range, just so i can have PCI-E compatibility and gradually change processors and video cards. Any recommendations for price-value?

if you don't need firewire or RAID it's hard to beat the abit IP35-E for value - you can find it for ~$70 if you look.

What are you going to transfer over from your existing build? Or are you just wanting to know what mobo right now would be good for you? Are you going to use Intel/AMD chips or DDR2/DDR3? Give us your full specs, so we can better help you with your decisions.

just check this : http://comparemb.tripod.com/ , my advice is non-intel chipset is always cheaper than intel's, choose either SIS or VIA chipset for cheap MB
