i was gonna get an asus wifi card to put in my computer but i have an msi motherboard so from what your saying i cant get a wifi card thats asus?

In that case , you do use the ASUS website for the driver.

An addon WIFI card , you get from the manufactures site.

That's actually an interesting question, because ASUS doesn't bother to tell you, beyond needing "a" PCIe slot, what you need to install it. I'm going to assume it only requires a PCIe x 1 slot (which your motherboard should have, but make sure it not only has one but is accessible), but if I were you I'd contact the manufacturer to be sure it doesn't need an PCIe x 4.
