Motherbiard and GPU

Is my motherboard compatible with my GPU? I have a ATX - Socket AM3 - AMD 880G and bought a GPU upgrade, a sapphire r7 265, will the GPU work with my motherboard ? Will it bottleneck my GPU?

GPU will be fine and we cant answer the bottleneck question without knowing which cpu you have.
