Motherboard 13 beeps now what?

Biostar TA990FXE
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB
ZALMAN LQ-320 Water Cooler
CORSAIR CX600M 600W

I had everything up and running, was working on the OC, had everything stable at 4.5GHz and ran it on Prime95 for a couple hours. I reset it to bump up the OC and when it rebooted I got this, did the MoBo flake out on me or is there a fix for this? Nothing shows on the screen just black. When I unplug the RAM all I get is a constant beep. Any ideas

Rtfm for error codes or google the error code, have you tried booting with one stick etc?

Manual says 13 beeps is "BIOS ROM image mismatch (file layout does not match image present in flash device)" I've found this on the internet too but just the description, not what do do about it I think I'm going to RMA the MoBo.

Sounds like a corrupt bios, is there an easyflash function on your board? I'd download the latest bios version onto a flashdrive and flash your board, possibly your overclock has blipped the bios, but its possible the chip, if not more is fried

I can't even get to bios to flash it, no video output, no easy flash, RMA'd the board, the last board I buy from Biostar.

Good move, if you can't even get to bios then swapping the bios chip out may have solved it but Rma is a decent call here,

I've never had much success with Biostar but I figured I'd give em' a go again, serves me right. I prefer ASUS MoBos but he didn't want to shell out the money, well now that the mobo had to be RMA'd he just returned it outright and got an ASUS. I didn't even know you could switch out the bios chip, handy bit of knowledge to hang onto, thanks.

Corrupted ones can be replaced in seconds (after the wait on post ofc)

Would have been a cheap fix if I was beyond return availability, found the bios chip here for $9.
