motherboard 8 pin problem

Hello
i just buy a pc
motherboard; asus h170 pro gaming
gpu ; xfx r9 280
cpu; intel core i 5 6500 3.2ghz
ram; RAM KINGSTON HX421C14FBK2/16 16GB
hdd; i got a wd 500Gb and an SSD KINGSTON SV300S37A/120G V300
psu : 750w
i got the following problem i have everthing connect not starting nothing
when i unplug the 8pin for cpu its start the fan / cd / hdd everthing
i have try everthing can you help me??? i think about mb being damaged

So the computer starts up when the 8 pin CPU plug is out? But won't boot when the 8 pin plug is plugged in?

Most likely a CPU problem, any more information you could provide is obliged.

Hi I am giannis from phone yes when the 8pin is plugged nothing happen when put it out all fan hdd and cd-rom running normal I I'll sent back the items for refund or change the damaged one so I need help is cpu or motherboard ; tried different psu nothing same thing and I can't find an lga 1551 socket cpu now from friend cause they are new, all lights on motherboard are on by the way

Yes, you most likely have either a CPU issue or mobo issue, rma the computer if you want a fast fix!
