Hello,

I am building my first computer.

The CPU will be an Intel Core i5-650 and the computer will be mostly for office work (Microsoft office suite, financial analysis software, email, etc) and I will probably want to get into some light gaming.

I am trying to pick a motherboard. I would like to stick to ASUS or Gigabyte as they are probably the most reliable brands.

I have found 3 ASUS motherboards that seem OK:

1. Asus P7P55D
2. Asus P7P55D Pro
3. ASUS P7H55/USB3

I will be adding an ATI Radeon HD 5670 video card, so I can go with either chipset (P55 or H55/H57)

Can anybody give me their opinion on the above motherboards.

Well since you won't be doing any big gaming then you will most likely not need 2 pci-e x16 slots so the cheapest one should work.

That's right, I won't need two PCIex16 slots for video cards, however, I want to be able to expand in the future and will need slots for that.
