Hey!

I've bought a new motherboard on saturday, since my old one broke, and the temperature of it is ALWAYS at 103ºc to 107ºc. I power the computer on for the first time of the day and it is at around 105ºc, I play a game and it goes up 1 or 2ºc.

Could this be a sensor problem or should I be more worried? I don't think a motherboard can go so high in temperature in only 2-3 minutes...

My motherboard is a ASUS H81M-P and I have 2 fans cooling the case

Thanks!

Hi while i doubt it is in fact that hot it is a unlikely possibility, when your in a game do you experience stuttering. When your using it how fast are your fans (if their pwn). some times you can shut down your pc and then stick your hand in between the heat sync and gpu anyways i would recommend uninstalling the program that your using via windows uninstaller or wine uninstaller if your in linux then reinstalling it if it still says that i would recommend exchanging the mobo for a new one.
