hi can some one tell me is this the right chip for this board A78M-E35 / CPU / AMD A4-5300 AD5300OKA23HJ Socket FM2 3.40GHz Dual Core CPU

A78M-E35 have a FM+ socket while AMD A4-5300 needs to have a FM2 socket motherboard... Try looking for another motherboard that has FM2 socket on it to match with your CPU.

Fm2+ is backward compatible , that board & apu will work fine together.

Its a very very weak chip though.
A bit more money would get you something much better.

thanks for the info I got it goin now just reset the bios and it came on for me just starting out bulding me own pc as it chills me out thanks lads
