here's my list does any one have any suggestions ? thanks

Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 AMD 990FX AM3+ Motherboard Rev2
£127

Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB Internal SSD Serial ATA-600 2.5" MZ-7TE120
£68.99

MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming 3G AMD Graphics Card - 3GB
£269

Zalman ZM700-GT 700W Power Supply (PSU)
£70

Corsair Memory Vengeance Pro Series Blue 8GB DDR3 1866 MHz Dual Channel Desktop
£80

Intel Core i7 3.6 GHz Processor
£225

was told on another forum (yahoo answers) that i could not use this processor due to my motherboard being for "AMD" but recently seen another post with a guy using this motherboard with a intel i5 ???

These 2 will definitely NOT work together.
You need to match motherboard socket type to processor socket type.
Asus Sabertooth motherboard for example has different sockets available depending on the model number.

FM and AM3 are for AMD
1155 sockets are Intel. (there are others)

hey thanks for the post.. my budget ? well id like to stay under £850 really :) i want a good machine that will have some longevity ..:) which could cope with bf4 type visual 😀

LOL, AMD socket will not work with Intel CPU.
For the processor, I could recon you to get no more than an i5 (3rd/4th gen= i5-3xxx or i5-4xxx), as an i5 and i7 have virtually the same performance in gaming. The i7 would cost you more. And try not to refer to clock speeds like i7 3.6 GHz. You should describe the CPU with the model no. ex- i3-2120, i5-4440 so that we understand you clearly. Other things look fine, be sure you match the frequency of the RAM and that which is supported on the motherboard. If you do not know, you will be safer getting 1600 MHz RAM instead. And for the PSU I would recommend a Corsair make or Cooler Master, as I have not heard Zalman (it maybe good, but I don't know). The SSD is a good touch. :)
