straight to the point: I wish to upgrade my motherboard/CPU http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/Motherboards/detail_spec.aspx?ID=en-us0000412

I am currently looking at this CPU here:
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AMD-Phenom%20II%20X4%20965%20Black%20Edition%20-%20HDZ965FBK4DGM%20(HDZ965FBGMBOX).html

and on top of that im lookin for some more RAM, or do you think 3GB is enough just for simple gaming?

32bit OS windows 7, current processor:

I'm looking into getting a new video card as well:

I don't really have a budget, but overtime i would like to install a second video card enabled through SLI.

All opinions/suggestions are very much appreciated, thanks

That processor will serve you nicely with an AM3 socketed board that has SLI capabilities as long as you don't get an SLI board that has a PCIe slot that is x4 speed. Try to go x16, x8 or x8, x8.
Always buy memory in matching pairs. If you use a 2GB stick and a 1GB stick, you will lose the double data rate speed benefit that matching sticks will provide. So go for 2 x 2GB instead.
Here are some boards you should consider. But keep away from the ones that say x16, x4

I had this one for awhile with 2 x GTX 460 786MB cards and a Phenom II X4 955BE, and it...

I had this one for awhile with 2 x GTX 460 786MB cards and a Phenom II X4 955BE, and it performed flawlessly:
