Motherboard and GPU compatibility

Hello,

I have an ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. CM6870 and an American Megatrends Inc. 0606 BIOS I recently updated

I really want to make sure my motherboard and BIOS will be compatible with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 before I go and purchase one. is the compatibility going to be different depending on the card Brand / make ?

Can anyone reassure me on that ?

Yes it will work, but will it fit? That system uses a small typical oem case that is probably crowded. Most likely you need to purchase a mini itx version or single fan or maybe a really short 2 fan model.

I had a dell tower like that a while back and it didn't fit anything with 2 fans, but a Lenovo one would, but that one had a case that looked much longer. You need to measure where its going
