Hello,
Planning my first build. It's NOT a gaming machine. It will be used for email, web surfing, some website design, and some video editing. It will be a dual-monitor system, and if possible, I'd like to configure it so that it will have two HDMI outputs. It will have a four-core processor, 32 GB of ram, and a 512 gb SSD.
I need instruction on the combination of motherboards and grahics cards. I think I understand that a motherboard listed as having an onboard chip set means that it has an output to a monitor, and that a graphics card is not necessary to output to one monitor. If this is correct, is what I need (1) a motherboard with an onboard chip set that allows HDMI output and (2) a graphics card that also has an HDMI output?
Thanks very much!
