Hello everyone! I am in the process of purchasing parts for my computer I am building. The motherboard I have chosen is the Asrock 970 Extreme4 with the AM3+ socket. The graphics card is the MSI AMD Radeon R9 270. I know they will work together, but I have one main question. The graphics card interface is PCIe 3.0, and while looking at the motherboard, the highest PCIe slot is 2.0. Will this be a big deal? Will I not be getting full power out of my graphics card? Or can I put it in one of the regular PCIe slots? I will leave links below to both products. I would like to thank everyone in advance for your help and time!

Yes they are compatible and you don't really lose much at all being in a 2.0 slot.

Alrighty. So I put the graphics card into the PCIe 2.0x16 slot or just a regular PCIe slot? Also, will it be a big loss in performance or no? I will be using this computer for 99.9% gaming so I don't want to lose much performance while running games at high detail.
