Hello!
I'm planning to get GTX 1050 graphics card and I have an old motherboard Hewlett-Packard 304bh and I'm wondering if it's going to work?

Thanks!

Solution
Looks like your motherboard lacks UEFI bios so you will be unable to support 10xx series intel cards (and 4xx and 5xx AMD cards).

You will need to look for something in 900 or 700 series for compatibility.

Also to get anything with similar power to the 1050 you will need a new power supply as the stock one in your HP is just not going to handle it.

If the board dont have UEFI bios then the cards will not work?

900 and I believe 700 series cards supported both UEFI and legacy bios booting.
The newest 1000 generation cards ONLY support UEFI bios and thus any motherboard that does not have UEFI bios will not be compatible.
