I just finished building my gaming PC yesterday and everything runs completely smooth. However a CD came with both the motherboard and the graphics card. Do I need to install these? I understand that these drivers generally help with chipset, LAN, audio, etc, but so far nothing seems to be wrong (although things might not be at optimal performance). I would have just installed it, however my Phanteks tower does not have a DVD drive and so I didn't purchase one. Nvidia Geforce application installed all my graphics drivers so I think I'm okay in that department. Thank you in advance!

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170 Gaming 6
Graphics Card: Asus GTX 1060 3GB

Solution
The motherboard drivers will be included with the Win updates, but the drivers from the board's website will be newest. Same goes for the gxf card. Win will eventually update the driver automatically, but the ones on the Nvidia website will be newest.

What I always do after a new build is to go to the board's webpage and download all the pertinent drivers. Then do the same at the card's website.
