Motherboard and Memory compatability

Hi,
I have just purchased a striker extreeme. On the front there is a sticker which states that only Memory from Qualified Vendor List should be used to avoid instability.

Could somebody kindly take a look at the QVL here (3rd link down the left hand menu)

And tell me if my Corsair DDR2 XMS2
CM2X1024-6400G
is ok?

I see a stick with C4 on the end
CM2X1024-6400C4
But no sign of the G series.

Anybody be so kind as to confirm that my memory is compatible before I open it up?

QVL are the stupidest things I've seen lately....it should work fine! It just means Asus has not tested it in their labs.

For future reference most RAM mfg will let you enter the mfg and model of your mobo and list what is compatable. This is Corair's just Click on Memory Configurator
