Motherboard and memory speed

Hello all, I have an issue of my motherboard memory and cpu not running at the correct speeds.

i have this memory : Team Elite 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model TEDD4096M800HC5DC

I have this CPU : Intel Pentium 4 P4 SL6WK 3.0Ghz 512KB Cache 800Mhz FSB ...

The bios says the

FREQ is 3ghz

FSB 800mhz

Cache L1 8kb
Cache L2 512kb

But CPU-Z says my memory is running at 400 mhz - Please help

DDR means double data rate. Your memory is running at 800Mhz. CPU-Z always reports that way. My DDR3 1600 shows as 800. Everything is fine.

Not enough to matter. You would need aftermarket cooling as well.

You have a CPU that has been obsolete since 2005 and there is not really any way to make it better, even having 2 of them would not help. It was really not even good when it was new.

The only way to make your system faster is to upgrade the whole thing. There are no good CPUs that fit a socket 478 board.

Core2Duo is obsolete and not even made anymore and your Pentium 4 3.0Ghz is about as fast as a 1.5Ghz Core2Duo.
