Question Motherboard and RAM compatibility

Gentlemen, I seek your wisdom once more.

I use Asus ROG Strix Z790-F model motherboard and Corsair Vengeance 6000 mhz RAM , however, my system sees it as 4800 mhz. Prior building my PC I did my homework (or so I thought), and every place said this motherboard was able to support up to 7000 mhz ram.

Was I wrong? If no, is there a way I can fix this?

Processor that you've paired with the board and ram? What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Got a link to the ram kit you've got?
