Question Motherboard and Storage Problem

Hi. I'm currently replacing a motherboard, CPU, and RAM for my friend. I installed all of the components and booted up into bios, but none of his previously used drives or SSD is being recognized by the bios. I have my power and sata cables attached, yet none of them are appearing, despite me plugging the sata cables in in different arrangements. Any feedback for this issue would be appreciated.
PC Specs:
ASRock B450M-HDV
Ryzen 3 2200g
8 gb ddr4
WD Blue 3d Nand SSD Sata 2.5

If the old drives had their original OS installed MBR (Master Boot Record) and you installed the new OS GPT (GUID Partition Table), that will happen.
