Hi,
I have a problem with PC Desktop computer, when I press power button to power PC he put few restarts randomly before start BIOS. Bios on this motherboard was 0501 from 2012 year and I try to solve problem with updating bios to latest 0601 from year 2014. It not solve the problem.

I suppose that problem has arisen when I put DDR3 4GB stick, system has before that 4GB. But I put same stick only from other manufacture. First one was Samsung and other is Kingston, both DDR3 PC3-10600 and both 1333mhz.

I also update hard disk, Samsung EVO 860 EVO 250 GB is new one, and older is WDC Green 10EZRX 1TB. I think that maybe problem is in configurtion in BIOS for this two drives, but I don't know what on this motherboard. Becouse when I try to put ANCI mode computer does not show OS on SSD or on HD. OS is Windows 7 64bit and it is on SSD from 225 GB.
SSD is not partitioned. Second HD is partitioned on on two partitions.

Does anybody have bad experience with this motherboard becouse it is old, probably 2012 or later and what I can do to stop restarting before touch Windows 7 logo and start.

And yes, after few restarts , 3 or 4, system boot Windows 7, show logo and enter the system.

Thanks in advance

Remove the 1TB HDD. And make sure the SSD is connected into the SATA3G_1 port, usually you should connect the boot device into the 1st SATA port. Check the manual for info https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H61M_LX3_PLUS/HelpDesk_Manual/

And I guess you use the IDE mode before, now you try to change the storage mode to the AHCI mode, you need to do few things, check the linker for how to change AHCI mode after OS installation. https://www.overclock.net/forum/20-...ge-sata-modes-after-windows-installation.html

Keep in mind, the SSD is very picky for the driver too, you need to update the chipset driver https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H61M_LX3_PLUS/HelpDesk_Download/ also the...
