motherboard b360 will be able to oc my ram

Hello guys,i need to know if i will be able to get my 2133 mhz ram to 2666mhz with this spesific motherboard or shoud i buy 2666 mhz ram sticks?Also i will be using 1 stick of ddr4 and later on i will be adding another one https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B360M-AORUS-GAMING-3-rev-10#kf i will be pairing this motherboard with the i5 8400 and i am not planning to overclock and that is why i chose this motherboard.Thank you for reading !

You can't overclock RAM on any other chipset than Z370. How much is the price markup for your RAM? 2400 Mhz would be fine as well.

its around the same for both 2133 and 2400mhz modules. around 70 euros (1x8 stick).

Go for the 2400 Mhz RAM. The only reason I'd go for 2667 is if it was only a few Euros more expensive, but that's probably not the case.

No. You will not be able to overclock your RAM on a b360 platform. The RAM speed you buy will most likely be the RAM speed you get. Again, I need pricing info on the 2666 kit vs the 2400. You won't be noticing a performance difference between the two speeds regardless.

Keep in min also that its better to buy in dual channel. Meaning for 8GB buy the RAM sold in a a pair of 4GB sticks.

as i mentioned in the description i will buy 1 stick now and one later on i know that the duall channel is better overall.

There's no guarantee a new stick will work correctly with the one you have. they are sold in pairs because they are matched. You can buy a 2x4GB set then add another one later, you have 4 DIMM slots.
