Alright so here is the dealio.

I am getting an R9 5900X as soon as I can snag on. I am going with AsRock for the motherboard this time around.
So, two boards... I LOVE the look of each of them, same style in fact (obviously). But the issue... is B550 vs X570. Now don't worry about the price... don't worry about the company (I don't care which board maker you personally think I should go with or how much money I should spend), what I'm trying to figure out is what board out of the two will best support 4x8GB (32GB) of 4133Mhz (will be set to 4000mhz 1:1 ratio). It's single sided, Samsung B-die so I imagine both boards shouldn't struggle with it too much... but I do know that as you throw in more DIMMS your odds of hitting the OC rated speeds of any given RAM set gets lower and lower. And the B550... is actually rated HIGHER (not by much though) than the X570 board, B550: DDR4 4733+(OC) vs X570 DDR4 4666+(OC).

So does anyone have a good idea if I will run into any issues with the RAM I'm using on either of these boards and or which board will potentially be more compatible with my RAM or be superior over all... or any other reason to go with one board over the other such as the VRM, the B550 is actually 14Phase while the X570 is 10phade (8+2). Here is a link to my RAM and both boards I'm looking at.

RAM - https://www.newegg.ca/team-16gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820331244 (4 of these dimms in total, bought in two sets)

X570 - https://www.newegg.ca/asrock-x570-extreme4/p/N82E16813157888?Description=ASRock X570 Extreme4&cm_re=ASRock_X570 Extreme4--9SIAA4Y9PE3653--Product

Thanks guys.

Because I currently have 4x8GB ;) And I like the look of all 4 slots filled lol but that wouldnt stop me from going with two in the future
If you're hard over on 4 DIMM's and the ability to overclock them to high levels you should look for a board with daisy chain interconnect. But the downside to daisy chain is they don't overclock 2 DIMM's very well.

As far as I'm aware only high end X570 boards use daisy chain.

If you dont need the extra PCIe Lanes, go with the B550, I also have the B550 extreme 4 and I can say that is a solid board, plenty of features, love their bios to overclock as well good VRMs.
Ya B550 has 14phase vs 8+4 10phase on the X570. Makes no sense to me but whatever lol. Presumably the B550 would handle the 5900X BETTER wouldn't it? What RAM are you running in it?
