Motherboard battery issue

I currently have a asus maximus VI formula motherboard which I got in may of last year and in march of this year the time and date of my computer would stop working in which I changed the battery to see if this was the problem which wasn't the case so I got a replacement in march and now the same thing is happing. can anyone help

Does the date and time reset after every restart? If so it's most likely the battery that has died again. It's a short time for a battery though, was it a reputable brand? I would say replace the battery and it will behave again.
