Motherboard bios resets everytime

My mobo bios resets everytime(CMOS error) I do a new boot after shutting down. Board is M5a78l m le. The bios is faulty and replacing it didnt help. And when it does this my graphics card is also not detected and after I restart the gpu is detected. So can this faulty mobo damage my GPU, CPU and other components? Should I remove my GPU and insert it after I buy a new mobo.

BTW are gigabyte mobo's good? I am in a tight budget and cant spend more than 40-50$ on a new mobo. This mobo just gave off after its 3yr warranty ended 🙁

One model that I have in mind is the GA-78lmt-USB3 from Gigabyte.

Specs of old pc:
AMD FX-4300
2x HyperX FURY Memory Blue - 4GB Module - DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM
Sapphire R7 260x 2gddr5 OC
Asus M5A78L M LE
WD Caviar Black 500gb
Corsair CX430 80+ Bronze
Lg standard DVD Writer
Antec X1 Chassis

On the specification pages between the three, the main differences are:

1) Integrated sound cards vary between the three, Rev 6 is slightly better than the others

2) Rev 6.0 will have the more current BIOS for the board...so I'd get that one if I could. Will probably play better with other hardware right out of the box.
