Motherboard Bios update X99

I have problem updating my motherboards bios, I have Gigabyte X99 Gaming 5 currently F6 bios version and I tried Q-Flash to install bios version F22, I put the file in a USB and tried to open the file in the bios but it says "BIOS ID CHECK ERROR" and then I renamed the file to GIGABYTE.bin like I was told and still did not work.

i7-5820K Stock
Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce
4x4GB of 2666Mhz RAM
H100i Cooler
650W PSU

It's not recommended updating the BIOS if not experiencing issues that you'd know they are solved by a BIOS update. Moreover, the F22 is a BETA version, meaning still under testing process.
However, regarding the updating issue, is the USB drive FAT 32 formatted?

GA-X99M Gaming 5 -> Rev. 1.1 uses the F23 BIOS.
GA-X99M Gaming 5 -> Rev 1.0 uses the F22 BIOS
GA-X99-Gaming 5P -> Rev 1.0 use the F22 BIOS

GA-X99-Gaming 5 -> Rev 1.0 uses F22h
