Motherboard / case compatibility

i am looking to buy the Intel Core I5-3470 Processor to upgrade my computer. i have no real knowledge in this area so im wondering how i can know if this motherboard i want to buy will fit.

To be sure, you must remove your current motherboard and see if the mounting screws are in the same position, if your case supports microATX motherboards.

As you can read for yourself, the case and motheboard's form factors do not correspond... an ATX motherboard doesn't fit a minitower case, so either of the specifications is probably incorrect, and you have to measure the motherboard (height and width) with a measuring tape or count the case standoffs/mobo screws to be sure of what form factor motherboard you can fit in it...
