Motherboard causing buzzing sound in headset.

Hello . I bought new mother board , its cheap sh*tty mother board because i spend all my money at graphics card 😀 But when Im using headset (HyperX clound gaming headset) I hear buzzing sound when playing games . Its loud sound and annoying . So I want buy external sound card to fix that . Can you guys help me if this one https://www.alza.sk/EN/axagon-ada-15-mini-hq-d1470922.htm is worth buying and if it can help me stop buzzing sound ?

Sounds like the on-board audio chip of your motherboard is crap, or the motherboard is not grounded properly. Have you tried several different headphones/speakers?

You're right, getting an audio card/DAC should solve the problem. I have this one, it's pretty good.

The one you posted looks pretty small, could also be a crap part, but I don't know, you'll have to judge by reviews.
 


I used that headset when I had old Asus motherboard (I had it around 5-6 years ) and there was no static or buzzing sound . Now I have some gigabyte motherboard that costs 50 € (I had to buy it because my Asus burned and I didnt have much money to spend anymore)
