Motherboard causing issues with pc

About 2 days ago my computer shut down properly(I had to force shut down) and I assumed it was a software issue. So today i did a system restores( because i had installed the creators update last week and i assumed this is causing me issues) but i am still having the same problems. I did get a new mechanical keyboard and gaming headset but i doubt this would me causing problems. I think this has something to do with my motherboard.
My specs are:
i7 7700
z270 sli plus
Crucial Balisk sport ddr4 2400mhz 16gb ram
GTX 1060 6gb
WD bluee 500gb ssd
Update:
My pc takes a while to POST or show the bios screen. I am thinking of resetting my CMOS but do you guys have any suggestions?

If you are saying the problem is you have to force your computer to shut down, that sounds more like a software issue. Try looking in Task Manager to see if one of your programs is not responding.

Hey thanks for your reply but that doesn't seem to be the issue. I did a system restore from the time before i had any issues i still have issues.

Thanks for the help but i reset the cmos and it solved most of my issues
