Motherboard chance of frying?

So I accidentally left my power supply cable plugged in with the power switch on, I went to put in a wireless network card that goes into the pci slot and when the metal part of the network card touched the motherboard I saw some electricity spark. My computer turns on and everything so I suppose it's okay but is that bad for the computer?

Well if it works fine i wouldn't worry about it you obviously didn't damage anything. It could have been bad if it burned out a capacitor or something but it didn't so your good.
