The ASRock Z75 Pro3 and H77 Pro4-M seem to be doing well on newegg. I'd have to agree with arzbhatia about going Z77 though. Avoid B75, which offers less features and is missing others (like RAID).

Low budget doesn't have to mean low quality... don't avoid motherboards that offer overclocking just because you won't be using the feature right now. Often those boards are built to higher specs for the added stress of overclocking, so they're more rugged for stock use. Then with a higher-spec motherboard down the road, it'll make inevitable upgrades easier.

Thanks for the insight. I will remove the B75 from my list.

I was looking at the Gigabyte GA H77M 3DH.

What would you rate this particular motherboard compared to your suggested (I'm not sure if it is the same, one, but this is the only H77s from the ASRock avaliable here) ASRock H77M?

Both are at similar prices; the Gigabyte one being around $20NZD higher (Not worried about the price difference).

I was looking to spend under $150 for the Motherboard as I was hoping to decrease my budget overall.
Upon stating my low budget status, I was told that if I had no plans to overclock, I should get a cheaper Mobo, but I guess I DO need to think about the quality of Motherboards :d

Just one last question..

The gigabyte mobo in question is a H77M, a Micro-ATX motherboard.
Which is smaller than a normal motherboard right?

Is there anything actually BAD about this difference?

For example, its all good for my build overall? (My Case, Memory, GPU etc...)

In your opinion, do I need these 'extra' features that a bigger Motherboard offers me?

Yeah, the Micro-ATX form factor is smaller than standard ATX and up, but larger than ITX (mini, pico, nano, etc). The most notable loss in the smaller board is expansion slots. You also get fewer USB ports, and less RAM (typically). Plenty of mid-range rigs are built with Micro-ATX boards, so long as you don't expect to add crossfire/SLI + sound card + NIC + RAID controller, etc.

Everything you have will fit.
