current build is a RX580 8gb, 750 gold psu, 8gb 3000, and ryzen 5 1500x cpu, looking up move cpu to 2600x or ryzen 7 2700x. Can't decide on a MB looking at 5

What is your current MB ? With eventual BIOS update, 2600x and 2700x can work equally well with all AM4 motherboards.
